5w 5d appointment

The appointment went well, expect my screaming 3.5yr was not cooperative at ALL. My MW was delivering a baby when we came, so we had to wait a bit, and he was not patient at all! I was this close to leaving and bringing him to daycare. Which was where he was supposed to be in the first place, but he begged to come with me so he could see Patty too. Finally I took him to the bathroom and gave him a HUGE lecture about behaving, and grounded him from the vsmile. (I ALMOST bribed him with Bug Juice, but realized that would not be smart) When I brought him back they put him in his own exam room with colors, and he was a little angel while my pap was being done.

My vials were great and the nurse went through all the paperwork with me. She asked how many pregnancies I have had, 4 there it totally hit me hard. I only have one with me. Then all the details on the losses. I swear can't they just copy off of last times OB record and just update with the last loss. Had it been the MW she would have filled it in as were were sitting there and not had to ask 50 million questions.

I had the usual yearly checkup stuff since mine is due in April. She said my uterus defiantly feels pregnant. So I guess I wasn't imagining the pregnancy lol She was joking around and asked me if Andy and I had sex. I was like uh you should know by now that's how these things happen. She then says yea well you'd be surprised on how many women come in here after their husbands were out truck driving that month. I slipped out and said, Patty that's not till April. lol It sounded soooooooo wrong, but I think she understood that I didn't mean it that way. Thank God for her humor and breaking the ice, because I was soooooo nervous.


On to the important stuff now. I was this --><-- close to getting an U/S yesterday, but my bladder was empty, and she said this early we might not see a heartbeat yet. So we both had to restrain really hard, she so was going to pull her machine out. I guess its OK, because had we done it and saw nothing yet, I'd be totally flipping out right about now. I'll get one next week!!! I can't wait. I turned down the CVS, but we will do the nuchal testing at 12w. A level 2 at 18w and a heart echo at some point too. Depending on delivery I should get one at the end for positioning as well. So that's 3-5 pictures!


She brought up delivery and we decided we'll try a VBAC if all goes well. She even said I could do my waterbirth if I wanted!!!!!!!!! But of course with the WB I can't have the epi.


I was there for 1.5hr I totally love my MW!! Oh yea, did I mention that I can call her at home if I need to!!!!!!!!!!

We totally forgot about lab, so I had to go back today and do that. I see her again on March 26th.

We talked about eating, drinking, and exercising. I take tons of vitamins, she was OK with me adding fish oil and calcium w/ vD this time. I always take the prenatal and extra folic acid.
